Gnoddy May Knitalong

Free, fun, and loads of help.
Let's knit together on Gnoddy in May. We’ll break the work down into easy stages, and knit our gnome together.
May 11-17: The Hat and Sweater Yoke
May 18-24: The Sweater, Sleeves, and Hands
May 26-31: Finishing the Body, Knitting the Nose and Beard, and Assembly
Week 4: Celebrations and Show & Tell
Weekly Zooms with Tutorials
The best part? The Grimblewoods Community Centre (aka weekly Zoom sessions) where I will have tutorials and tips for the next step of the knitting! Before you even try something, I want you to feel supported and prepared for the upcoming week. These will be recorded in case you can’t make it or so you can play back the bits you need. See below for details, links, and recordings.
At each Zoom we will have tutorials for the upcoming week’s section of knitting and time to answer your questions.
Details
You will need a copy of The Gnomes of Grimblewood to participate. That is where the pattern instructions will be found.
No registration is required to participate.
You can use any yarn you like. Gnoddy, like all the book gnomes, is written for both fingering weight and DK weight.
See our participating dyers list. Some dyers are offering both DK and fingering weight options. You can also source your own yarn, of course. See the charts for yardage that are in the last pages of the book or on the Ravelry pattern page.
These gnomes will of course count as a Year Of Gnomes prize entry as long as you start and finish within May, and post in the Ravelry thread before it is closed June 2.
