Gnorri November Knitalong

Whether you’re dipping your toes into gnome knitting for the first time, or planning to make 6 for presents this year, knit along with us in November!

Free, fun, and loads of help.

In November, we will be working together on Gnorri, aka the one with pockets on his beard. We’ll break the work down into easy stages, and knit our gnome together.

The best part? The Grimblewoods Community Centre (aka weekly Zoom sessions) where I will have tutorials and tips for the next step of the knitting! I want you to feel supported and prepared for the upcoming week. These will be recorded in case you can’t make it or so you can play back the bits you need. Check here for links.

At each Zoom we will have tutorials for the upcoming week’s section of knitting and time to answer your questions.

You will need a copy of The Gnomes of Grimblewood to participate. That is where the pattern instructions will be found.

No registration is required to participate.

You can use any yarn you like. Gnorri, like all the book gnomes, is written for both fingering weight and DK weight.

See our participating dyers list. Some dyers are offering both DK and fingering weight options.

Gnorri 2

Gnorri is a simple gnome, perfect for learning basic gnoming skills.

Rav for Book 0185

Gnorri is a wonderful friend in both DK or fingering weight.

Gnorri 1730

Gnorri's also perfect for playing around with. What if the pocket was on his hat? What if you used striping yarn on the hat? What if you found little things for the pockets?
