Brown Paper Packages Cowl

A mug of tea on a cold morning, the last chapter of a good book, running through a quiet city park…these are a few of my favourite things. And knitting. Obviously.

You only ever use one colour per row – it’s slipping stitches that makes the pattern appear, not juggling two strands of yarn at the same time. The centre section is knit sideways and seamed and then the top and bottom edges are worked from picked up stitches

•Yarn
C1: 1 skein Springvale DK, Three Irish Girls (270 yd. / 247m per 100g skein); colour shown: Birch
C2: 1 skein Springvale DK, Three Irish Girls (270 yd. / 247m per 100g skein); colour shown: Mister Heat Miser

•Needles
US 4 / 3.5mm 24” / 61 cm circular needles, or size needed to get gauge

•Notions
darning needle, stitch marker
