Gradient Drift
For yarns you just want to combine…
I designed this simple wrap for two reasons: 1) I came across the new Wollmeise Rolls with their compelling, slow colour changes, and 2) I wanted a project simple enough that I could do “knitting and…” I knit and talked. Knit and read. Knit and watched TV. Knit and played board games. It was a lovely process, and now the product is lovely!
If you want to use 100g skeins, I’ve written the pattern for use with 3 individual skeins as well. It’s simple to adjust for length or width, and is a great place to play with leftovers and mini-skeins.
Materials
•Yarn
fingering weight yarn
Shown: 2 Wollmeisen Rolls (150 g), Rohrspatz & Wollmeise (574 yd. / 525 m); 1148 yd. / 1050 m total Colourways shown: Admiral in den Wolken and Sündig und Verrucht
If using yarn other than the Rolls:
C1: 385 yd. / 350 m, approx. 100 g
C2: 385 yd. / 350 m, approx. 100 g; split into 2 50 g balls (C2a and C2b)

Note: When you are choosing yarn for the 3-skein version, be aware that all three colours will stripe against each other.
